Make sure the remote wire is hooked up. You can run a small wire from the power terminal to the remote terminal. If it powers up, then you have a remote wire problem. You can run a remote wire from the blue power antennae wire of the deck.

SOURCE: Electrical problems. Car won't start.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
It can be a disconnected or loosen battery connectors. As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you tighten the negative battery connector. Please do check the body ground to the body as well. If possible add more body ground and observe how it goes.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Look at your maintenance manual. To find where your fuse box is located(may be under the hood or under the steering wheel). When you find the fuse box look on the back of the panel flap and you'll find a fuse map. Locate the fuse that corresponds with your problem. It could be the same fuse but not likely. If fuse is blown then replace it with a spare. Most manufacturers will put spare fuses in the box or you could pull a fuse from some where else just to try and see if the problem is still there( make sure it's the same size and understand that it could blow this fuse as well then you will need 2 fuses). Most of the time fuses don't just blow. For some reason it pulled to much load. Probably a dead short in the wiring. I hope this helps.

Battery on 98 Ford Expedition doesn't hold charge

First thing I would do is have someone qualified disconnect the alarm and stereo and start over.
Chances are you have circuits cross-connected and something is draining the battery.

My plymouth breeze won't start, won't make a sound, but my lights and horn still works , help me.

any real answer yet? did the problem ever get resolved? i have the same problem with my sister's car. too cold to diagnose tonight, but will post the solution probably tomorrow. since the lights and heater works, but ignition and radio arent getting power, my first guess is there's probably a fried fusible link which controls the 2nd accessory power to the ignition switch. will post a solution soon.

The a/c in my car doesn't work

The system will need to be recharged with freon and if there is no air flow in the front then there may be a stuck vent flap that won't move or a faulty motor that moves the flap.

99 mercury cougar replaced power window motor and switch window still does not work

That doesn't seem possible does it ?

You remove the inner door panel

You think the motor may be bad,so you unplug it,
knowing it is a DC Motor & can be hooked up either
way & will run in either direction
You put 12 volts to it. Doesn't work ,sounds bad,you
install a new one

Now you need power from the switch to run the new motor,
so you work on that
The switch can be disconnected & tested with an OHM Meter
& if worn,you replace that
You checked the fuse before you started & knew that wasn't an issue,
because all the other windows worked

So what did you mis ,short of having no wiring diagram, to make
things a lot easier?

It may be a bad Power Window Switch, if the Power Window Motor goes up and down when you ran power leads to it but doesn't work with the switch, than the switch is bad. Replace the power window switch and it should work fine.
