Cooling fan not working at all. Just spent $400 a while back to fix overheating issue Temp rises when in idle, overheats while stopped in traffic

cheak your fuse box for a bad fuse.your fuse for your fan might be under the hood our to the right of your stick and down.if you cant find it just unplug your ac under the hood and push ac in your car to use your fan.if that does not work email [email protected]

The radiator fan is not spinning. Car overheats when idling with no air flowing through the radiator fins.
When you are driving, there is enough air flowing through the radiator fins to keep the Saturn cool.
1. Check the radiator fan (cooling fan) fuse.
2. Check the radiator fan electrical connector. It may have vibrated loose.
3. *sigh* .. replace fan motor....
If you need instructions on how to replace fan motor , please comment.
Just don't let the fan scrape against the radiator when you are removing / rfeplacing the motor.
Hope this helps ... and it's just a fuse.

first place i would start are the MAXIfuses in the main fuse panel in the engine compartment, they are huge green fuses that should be 30A. but they control a large array of things.

There is a coolant sensor ,it could be bad,or the relay for that fan maybe bad.
