8 way power seat swap for power heated seat

I have a 1998 K1500 with power seats (no heat) I have access to a pair of 1998 heated seats. Are they a direct replacement for wiring or is there a different harness? My thoughts are tha the same wiring with an additional pin connecter for the heated seat.

Swapped seats but heat not working - f56 mini cooper s

Are the connectors actually wired the same? Check the wiring diagrams for each seat if you can find them, otherwise trace the wiring from the internal components in the seat to the connector and make sure the heaters are going to heater power pins in the original harness, and temperature sensors are going to temperature sensor pins (temperature sensors may be polarized, that is, it makes a difference which pin goes to positive and which to ground).

I am swapping in leather seats. New drivers seat is 10 way, with memory and heat. What wires should have 12v and ground to get power to the seat?

And it won't. You probably jumped too many years, And definitely the plugs. 6 to 10. Power and ground is there, Just at the wrong spot. You need pin outs for both. Alldatadiy.com. You can buy them both.

2007 Equinox drivers seat will not heat...light goes off after a minute.

I finally got out my ohm meter and the circuit diagram and checked out all the wires. Turns out the problem was an open circuit in the drivers side seat heating pad. The connectors are fairly accessible under the seats. The circuit is rather involved since the control module is under the passenger seat and the inputs come from the switches on the dash through the climate control module!! What a complicated execution for heated seats!
But I was able to find some new replacement seats on Craigslist and picked one up for $100. It was pretty easy to replace with just the 2 bolts at the back, the wiring harness underneath and the shoulder belt clip. Now everything is working and I sold the old seat for $60. A ne $40 repair and 3 hours of diagnosis and swap work.

The driver's side heated seat won't turn off on my 2003 Mecury Moutaineer. Also, how do I change my cabin filter?

Your vhicle build date is on a blue sticker on the driver door or door frame. If not there, check other doors.
The heated seat Module is under the seat. You can unplug the connector on it or the heated seat switch to shut it off. I supect the module is bad. get one used from car-parts.com. The cabin air filter is under the leaf screen at the base of the windshield. Remove wiper arms and leaf screen for access. Please rate, thanks. Principles of Operation - Heated Seats - Vehicles Built 03/2002 Onward
NOTE: Two heated seat modules are used, one for vehicles built up to 03/2002 and one for vehicles built 03/2002 onward. The modules are not interchangeable.
The driver and passenger heated seats share a common battery and ignition feed. A shared ground source supplies the heated seat control switches. When the heated seat control switch is pressed with the ignition switch in RUN or START, a momentary ground signal is sent to the heated seat module. The heated seat module then supplies power to the heating element circuit. The cushion element and seat backrest element are wired in series and powered by the same output. The heated seat module also will ground the separate indicator circuit at the dual automatic temperature control (DATC) module display panel to indicate an ON state. The heated seat module will remain on until the heated seat control switch is pressed and a momentary voltage signal is received, or until 10 minutes expire. If the ignition source is removed from the module, the heated seat module will enter an OFF state and will not return to ON until the switch is once again pressed with the ignition switch in RUN. The heated seat module is designed to heat the seat to 37.5?C (99.5?F) and maintain the temperature until time-out or switched off. This temperature is maintained by the heated seat module monitoring the temperature sensor located in the seat cushion element, and adjusting the current flow to the heating elements.

98 Aurora's heated seat not working

Check your fuses first. Then check to see if you have power to the box under seat. It should be about 3x3 and black I think. If you have power to the box change the box. To check use a test light. make sure the key is on and the button is pushed then probe the wires going to the box. Hope this helps you.

Swap it with a relay you know to be good and see if it works again, pick a relay that is not important to the function of your car.

I need a wiring diagram for '94 volvo 8-way power seat

Could this be what you're looking for?
I'm a little bit confused as to what you mean by power seats... Do you mean heated seats or seats with electric motors for adjusting them? Anyways, the document linked to below has a circuit diagram of heated seats on page 43, as well as a lot of other components of an 850. Have a look, and good luck!

Do some checking if you haven't already, the harness may already be there under carpet. If not, you may have to sweet talk a service guy at dealership for the print you need, or try www.alldata.com.
