all the hyundai dealers in my area cant get it run again, can you help have yours accent been solved please tell mee sorry abaut the spelling i am not soo good at english

Have they checked your Accent for any stored computer error codes? Also, can you more fully describe the problem. I also have a 2002 Hyundai Accent, and I have the shop manual. So, maybe I might be able to help.

You need to scan the ECM to see if there are any stored DTCs. Just guessing, it sounds like a bad cam or crank sensor. They can be temperamental when they get warmed up, if they are bad.
you have a restrictor in the fuel filler neck to stop fuel leaking out if the car overturns,unfortunately it also means you have to hold the fuel gun 1/2 way to stop it shutting off.also to fill right up, you have to rock the car a little when nearly full.autofill guns are only in USA/Canada. you cannot take out thr restrictor......
Hi had a similar problem last week with my 2000 accent took car to dealer who put it on the computer, turned out that the 'mass airflow unit' needed replacing. Very expensive part cost £182 and labour £36 (Hyundai dealer) sorry!!!!
first thing i need to know is did the timing belt break? second is are you sure you aligned the timing marks and after the belt tensioner was tight you rechecked to make sure the timing stayed where you had it. next step would be a compression check to if a valve was bent whenchanging the belt i have seen this happen and this engine is an interferance engine. later paul
on the 2002 Accent we have, the area is clearly identified w/the "cutout" area and marked SRS Airbag...perhaps look at Hyundai.com at the owners' manual online, or look at used cars/junk yards to compare dash panels to yours...would think it VERY difficult for avg person to perform this task
