Mine was a bad battery, it does not have the power to activate the solenoid switch for the fuse box, that is the fast cliking sound you hear, test your battery, hook it up to another battery or jumper cables.

SOURCE: 2001 lincoln navigator rear suspension?

Here is how to tell if system is working.Get into the vehicle and close door. Set ignition switch to on position and move the gear shifter to neutral. After a few secs. you should hear the compressor turn on. If it comes on then put shifter back to park leave ignition on and exit vehicle. Compressor will stop when you open the door but should start back up in a couple of secs. after you close the door. You can then walk around the vehicle and listen for leaks.
If compressor does not come on there are 3 fuses and a solid state relay that controls it along with the module.
The 3 fuses are no. 109(50amp) in the battery junction box under hood. This is the direct feed to compressor thru the solid state relay. The other 2 fuses are located in the interior fuse panel and they are no. 6 (5amp) and no. 12(15amp).
What we usually see though if compressor does not run is either a bad compressor or the solid state relay. They both are rather expensive so I would have an experience tech look at it then.
However If you feel confident enough and have a voltmeter or test light respond back and I will tell you which wires to check.

SOURCE: where is fuse box for 03 lincoln navigator?

the fuse panel for the Lincoln Navigator 2003 is on the Passenger side, at your right foot. It's a rectangular panel in the right corner that pops off to reveal the fuse panel.

I unplugged my battery and I can hear something ticking fast, when I pull out fuses under the hood (main fuses) noises change..

could be the solenoid on the starter motor clicking, or sometimes there is just enough battery power to put lights on but higher drain items just click on & off trying to cut in, test the battery output voltage should be at least 12v to start, a fully charged battery will be 13.5v, under 12v is no good.

Clicking noise wont start

Sounds like a weak solenoid on the starter. Probably needs starter replacement. Those cars need a mechanic to work on them.

Okay the switch is in the back trunk area(I know it a SUV) in the back where you access the jacking tool youll see the switch make sure its on. Now some Navigator some have a shrader valve to pump up the suspension on the front area on driver side. As for the relay you might have to use a enhance scan tool to command it.By the way do you have a misfire?because if there is a misfire it will not inflate or a ABS light on? thse will also cause the suspension to not inflate

2004 Lincoln Navigator, Strange ticking noise coming from rear passenger 3 row area over wheel well some sort of computer box. only when turn ignition or vehicle running, sounds like clock ticking

This is caused by a blend door actuator on the rear a/c unit. There are 2 located on the case. Take it to a dealer and they will know what you are talking about.

It could be spark knock. You should have a sensor to keep that from happening. So will a tank of Premium gas.

Another possibility is a loose heat shield on the exhaust system. Lincolns usually have longer warranties, call a dealer and see if it is covered. If it is part of the emissions system, the warranty is even longer.
