check your plug wire..and the plug itself, my son's girlfriends car had the same issue and it turned out to be the plug itself...they were autolite plugs and had a removable top (threaded on)...it had come unscrewed with driving vibrations...you have to reset the computer with the key on but the engine off to get it to clear.

If you have fire, then it's probably a fuel problem. Turn the key to the on position, you should hear a 'whirring' sound from the gas tank, which is the fuel pump. This sound will only last a few seconds , but should indicate that the fuel pump is working. If no sound, check the fuel pump fuse, fuel pump relay, and the fuel pump itself . Good luck.

Other than a bad scanner, you have got something going on there, Is it missing or just telling you it is missing? Did you try another wire in the No. 1 spot? Did you look at it running at night?(light show) Try separating the wires going to No. 1 and see if anything changes. The only other thing I would check is a stuck valve. A compression check will tell you what it is. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 2001 Town & Country. No spark. Have codes

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you remove the positive battery connector and let it sit for atleast 5mins. before reconnecting. This will reset the system and may get it back to it's normal operation.
If the problem still persists, don't lose hope. If you happen to know someone who has a spare ECM then try a swap for I'm suspecting a computer issue here. If there's none, you may want to get one from the junkyard to cut the cost.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

I have an 05 town and country stow and go 3.8liter.My scanner says cylinder 1 misfiring and i already replaced plugs, wires, egr, coil pack and # 1 fuel injector and my van is still misfiring.I cant figure it...

Check the compression on that cylinder, and see if it is lower than the others or is flucuating up and down, also it can be the harness to it,from the computer, now if it is not, then the computer would be the problem. If this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.
