1996 isuzu rodeo problem

seems to me (id use my meter to find truth) a short in the HL.
head lights. and possible wrong size fuse in that circuit too.

find a good ASE shop. they will make short (no pun) work of this.
or buy a DMM and ask how to do this.
or inspect all HL wires for shorts.
it also seems to me the park lamps side is shorted.
but i cant see dash and the effect.
are you saying the warning lights in cluster or blinking
or the cluster back lights flash.
if back lights , that is PARK (via dimmer) in the dash.
so if the backlights dim that means the park feed is shorted.
but, like I said, I never guess. I use a meter.

The flasher or dash light fuses are under the dash next to the drivers left knee above the side panel. Hope this helps.

i dont have the same car but that happend to me and it was the altornator

Re-sit the flasher unit.

Replace it if it does not operate.

could be a fuse, bulbs, or wires may need replaced or fixed hope this helps

There could be a hundred causes for a check engine light. First step is to hook up a computer scan tool and see what codes the computer has. The next step depends on the codes.

Try using the online help manuals at autozone. But before I did that there is a heqad light relay breaker under the hood in the enignine compartment that sometimes goes bad.

Get an OBD reading

Get a Beck Arnley alternator. The auto-zone, Napa etc. alternators are a problem for Isuzu's. I worked at a dealership and a lot of them came in for this problem. If you still have the original have it rebuilt. Check yellow pages.
