I would say you may want to look into your intake gaskets

First check your coolant level then check for leaks, if no leaks you may have a bad thermostate, or Water pump. this is where i would start although check for flow of coolant. Does fan come on as it gets to temperature if not temp sending unit could be bad. Turn heat on in car do you smeel a sweet smell from the heater if so heator core is bad. is car blowing a blue exhuast bad head gasket. with these different checks you should be able to come up with solution

My a/c was working fine. I put the heat on and then went back to the a/c and it will not blow cool now. It did make some clicking noises in the dash while the heat was heating up but now it will not b

Your vehicle is now very old and will develop such issues. The blend door is operated by a vacuum motor, and may get stuck if in need of lubrication or if there is a vacuum leak under the dashboard (especially if your automatic brake release is leaking vacuum... very common issue).
Check for vacuum leaks, and lubricate the blend door (behind the glove compartment).

Low air flow to feet when heat is on ?

Sounds to me that you might have a leak in the line. Those heaters are all Vacume actuated.

I have a 2000 nissan maxima gle the a/c system doesnt work replaced a/c air compressor and lines are new dont leak but the blower doesnt take in the air instead it takes out whats the problem

Ok this sounds like troubling problem first the clip the hooks to the fan motor just below the glove box see if the clip is on it and intact be the wires could be crossed on the wrong poles from the fan motor.
Also this sounds like you are having a damper air mix door problem which it as well is in the same location as the fan motor it has a little metal rod coming from it. This goes either left and right or up and down in movement which open or closes a swinging door from heat to cool make sure have someone switch from heat to cool with the engine running and see if this small metal rod moves any at all. If not this is your problem. You have a vacuum leak or the control assembly is bad.
Please rate my solution and and leave testimonial this is how i earn my achievements Thanks in advance if you need further help please feel free to ask.

Overheating leaking water profusly especially when you turn it off. Leaking somewhere behind the motor, also passenger side heat not working blowing cold air.

It sounds like you have a busted heater core hose. The only solution is to pin point the leak and replace the hose that's leaking. There are usually two heater core hoses coming out of the firewall on the passenger side of the vehicle. Examine both of them carefully for a blowout. Many times when a hose goes bad or is getting ready to go bad, it will have some swelling or deformation around the end of it. I hope this helps.

I have a jeep grand cherokee laredo that the heat is not very hot, and the air that comes out of the vents is not the same throughout. how can i fix that?

Sounds like the heater core is dirty, take the fan motor out and reach inside the air vent, you can feel the heater core (scratch your finger nails on it), is there a bunch of debri on it, I found this to be a problem when there is a leaking heater core, (coolant leaks onto the core and dust and dirt attaches to it restricting air flow and reducing heat. Also you might want to flush the entire system and replace the coolant.
Please rate your mechanic.

Heater blows cold air when i turn it on blows a little warm air then it is cold

It sounds like you may be leaking coolant and are low on coolant. Low or no heat is a sign of the coolant being low. Vehicle can leak coolant from multiple locations. Top off the coolant level and see if the heat returns or gets better and get back to me.

Other causes could be a clogged heater core, Temperature door motor/door not moving, cylinder head gaskets, engine block, thermostat.

Defrost and heat does not get hot on 2001 nissan quest, fan blows but is cold air.

It sounds like one of two things could be causing your concern. One... your coolant level is low and not circulating through the heater core which could possibly have air trapped in it. Two.. your mix door may not be operating properly. Sounds like the second one to me.

Check your overflow tank to see if it has coolant in it. This vehicle has rear air meaning coolant has to travel to the rear to heat the compartment. Air will have to be purged from the coolant system. WIth the engine cold remove the radiator cap and check the level in the radiator. If there is no coolant present there is a possibility that you have a leak somewhere in the system and it will need to be pressure checked.

Whether you have AUTO or MANUAL air the mix door has a motor mounted on it. If that motor does not work you will experience the concern that you have. Turn the knob (on manual models) from hot to cool to hot and listen for air sound change. On AUTO models change the temperature from 90 to 60 to 90 (make sure you are in manual mode so the mode doors don't change). There is a slight restriction on heat because the air has to travel through the heater core

No heat in 1997 firebird

this sounds like a air temperature control blend door motor issue.

We have no heat or even air coming on in our 1996 plymoth neon there is also water leaking from under the passenger side dash board were the heater core is can you help please thanx

these guys are retarded, could be the fuse, could be the relay, could be the fan control unit, could be the resistor, could be the fan motor itself. if the heater core was leaking, you would still have heat, you would just smell coolant, if it was leaking enough to not have heat you would see it on your floorboard.
