I need the wiring schematics for 2006 equinox

I bought 06 equinox wich had burn fuse box,, with wires disconnected,, I bought a fuse box from salvage car with 3 harness,, I tryed to connect the wires together but I got stucked with fews wich are the same colors and sizez,, need the schematics to get throught each wire ,, please need help

Try this site autozone. they ahve a lot of wiring diagrams. jsut go down the list until you find your diagram.

Ask dealer if it has a towing package on it. If it does, you usually just pop fuse in under hood for electric brakes, and harness to adapt into is usually near or at rear bumper. Even if it doesn't have brake wire, you should still be able to install adapter at rear,for lights etc. which is available from dealer or auto supply places, then you may have to run electric brakes separate.

You might wanna check and make sure the heater switch didn't go bad. It could even be the blower motor itself.

SOURCE: Right side trailer brake light does not work

Did yo check the fuse panel inside the truck its located on the drivers side dash , you have to open the driver side door, in there is a 10 amp fuse that is linked to rt trailer brakes and rt turn signal for the trailer, if the fuse is good there is a black box under the dash located on the floor on the driver side, just to the left of the break, thats where must of the plug in wire harness is for the trailer breaks!

2007 equinox head lights burn out all the lights go dim hit the casing and they go bright again changed the pig tales and it still does the same thing why ??

I have changed the head lights in are Equinox several times. They work great for some time I would say after 4 mouths 1 will burn out . The low beam. I will change both lights. again not touching the leans putting them in with a clean rag.work great then in about 3 mouths the other side low beam will burn out. Again taking both out. I bought the best you can buy lights put them in September. 1 day the 1 burned out the next day the other side burned out low beam. So on March 3,I put in 2 new one's. again crossing my fingers. I'm almost redy to go to the dealer on this one. any idea's. Need help with my 2007 Equinox in Pa. Thanks Roger

if one side works, its not going to be a fuse, whoever installed it needs to recheck it if that is possible,, On those bulbs its very important not to touch the actual bulb, as the oil in the body will cause them to over heat and burn out faster . If you can't have the installer check the bulb again,, remove the retaining ring that holds them in place,, remove the bulb , and check it with a meter , check any wiring that leads to the socket to be sure its plugged in completely

On page 5-85 there is this diagram of the fuse box inside the cabin....IGN 1 is the instrument cluster fuse

The the odometer light was the ONLY one to go out ... odds are it is not the fuse .... but now you know how to check that fuse

Its the same for both types of Equinox.
The short story: the fuel filter is an integral part of the fuel pump, and 06 Equinox has 2 fuel pumps (each presumably with its own filter), due to the odd shape of its fuel tank.
Note: the last time I thought I had a car whose owner thought it was a fuel pump/fuel strainer/fuel filter promplem turned out to have a bad spark plug wire - it caused identical symptoms (engine missing alot, especially going uphill).

How to find fuse for a 2006 chevy equinox driver's power window

power windows are not usually fused. They have a circuit breaker that controls all the windows. So if only one window is not working it is something like a bad switch or window motor. Remove the door panel and unplug the connector to the window motor and check for power and ground when activating the switch.

2008 Equinox steering quit. It was the mega 80 fuse, and a $6.00 fix. I have NEVER boosted anyone, so not sure what happened. Will see if it goes again but sure hope it was just a one time incident.
