SOURCE: chev avalanche 2004 inner tie rods

I was able to fix the inner tie rod problem with a little of patients and 90 bucks for the parts. When I took it in for the front end to be aligned the drivers side was only off by 1/4 on an inch.

2004 chev silveroda 4x4 z71 5.3 motor, has abattery drainage dead in a week and half

Probably the battery, If you don't start it any time within the week and a half. Computers in the truck stay on all the time. A new battery will drain in about 30 days. because of the computers. A shorted dome light will kill a old battery in about 2 days. Starters and alternators will kill them over night. Start it every 2 or 3 days for 5 minutes, you shouldn't have a problem.

My 2005 chevy avalanche only blows cold air until i drive then when I stop cold air Agian

One of two things has happened. Either your coolant has gotten really low (easy enough to check) or you heater core is starting to plug up.

Driver's side blows hot air when it should blow cool. passenger side is fine. 08 chev avalanche any ideas?

THEIR IS A DOOR WORKS ON SPRING WHEN YOU SET THE SELECTER FOR COLDIT SHOULD PULL CLOSE WHEN THE SPRING COME OFF IS DOESN'T ALLOW THE DOOR TO CLOSE TO DIRECT THE COLD AIR INTO THE VEHICLE.

I have a 2004 Chevy Avalanche. The problem is the AC is blowing hot air on passenger side and the drivers side has about 60 degrees coming out. We have had minor problems with this vehicle, like sensor...

I had a similar problem and thought to solve it my adding freon. When I made the connections I was surprised to find that the pressure was already higher than it should be.

Changed plan at that point and vented freon back into safe range. The A/C immediately began blowing cold again on both sides. Found out later that if the A/C had been serviced / filled on a cold day, that on a hot day in Texas it would be too high and cause the issues you noted.

Heater issue, driver side of 2004 Chevy Avalanche

1. Place the ignition switch in the off position.
2. Remove the HVAC/ECAS fuse for 10 seconds or more. It's in the under hood fuse box. Put the temp in full cold.
3. Install the fuse.
4. Start the engine. DO NOT TOUCH THE HVAC CONTROLS FOR LESS THAN 45 SECONDS.
5. Have any codes cleared with a scan tool.

Start but not run

try a heated dip stick for when it sets over night and some dry gas to keep the gas line from freezing

Chev avalanche 2004

That is called an intermittent problem. these are the most difficult to diagnose. you have to look at several things before coming to a definte conclusion. does it do it when the engine is hot ? Or when it is cold ? Does it do it all the time or sometimes ? Changing one part at a time can eventually lead you to the right part. But parts cost money. the best way to find out is if you can have it code scanned at the time it does not start. Then go from there. I hope you can resolve your problem. But don't waste your money installing one part then another etc.
