2004 And 2005 There is no bypass pulley manufactured, even though all of them come with AC. but I am learning although mechanics dont want to admit it, if you remove the ac pump a shorter belt WILL work, in fact it will work (very temperorerly because there is a slight rub) without the removeal of ac pump. but a 15 milmeter wrench will get it home to remove the AC pump about 4 hours labor. Orielly's master pro K060815, Auto Zone 822K6, or preptstone 825K6 will work.
GOOD LUCK FRIENDS

Thank you very much for this post it was very helpful. Just an update to this post, the serpentine belt at Autozone has an updated part number. It is now 825K6. 822k6 is the old number and the 825k6 is about 0.3 inches longer but it still works perfectly. I just bought one for my 2005 Ford Taurus Se Sedan OHV.

SOURCE: need to bypass ac compressor

Hi yotaguy,
You will need to buy a By-Pass pulley, due to the placement of the other pulleys you will not be able to eliminate the ac and still run the correct routing of the belt.
I will research the price of the pulley and post it here.
Please rate this solution, the only compensation I receive for my time is the knowing I have helped and the rating I receive here on Fixya.

SOURCE: Can I bypass ac compressor

You can go to an auto parts dealer. They sell a bracket with a pulley that takes the place of an a/c compressor and allows you to use the same size belt It's available at a place like NAPA or Autozone.

SOURCE: I need instructions and a diagram to bypass the ac

simple trick provided you can do this by running some twine around your pulleys allowing for1-2 inches less for slack adjuster an that will pretty close.or they may have for that system without ac meaning the condenser unit.

That's not the way you do it, you remove the AC Compressor and fit a Bypass Pulley in its place. The belt and routing remain the same.

yes it can be done but you will need to ask in auto factor for this belt as they will no doubt know the part number and should have one in stock
