Dashboard Lights not working but headlights are

My Dashboard lights went out after I was towing a trailer which was connected to my rear tail lights. I checked the fuse and that seems fine, but the relay it's labelled well enough for me to know which one it is. I thought that the relay may be the issue as everything else works fine but the dashboard will not light up. I have the lights for the needles on the displays for the speedometer and gas as well as the heat gauge, but none of the other lights are working.

i was having a similar problem with my 2000 SL. when the taillights would go, so would the cruise control. and through many bulb and fuse replacements, i finally went into a saturn dealership and they did a recall campaign on it. they did their thing and i havnt had any problems since. FREE!

SOURCE: When I turn on headlights, dash lights and tail lights turn off

I have a 2002 Saturn SC2 that had a similar problem. The solution was replacing a burnt out fuse.

2007 Yukon Xl Denali can the headlight switch/dimmer cause only the tail lights to not work. Dash lights, signals, brake lights when pressed work. Both sides went out. No blown fuse or broken wires.

If front park lights are working highly unlikely headlight switch is the issue. Is the vehicle equipped with a trailer towing package and wiring to the rear? I would start there. This vehicle may also have a taillight module located under the vehicle on the passenger rear attached in the wheel well area that goes bad

My dashboard lights and panel went out, how do i fix this?

This could be a couple of things. First, have you towed a trailer recently or do you have a trailer hitch with light connections? Check to see if the the "running or parking" lights work on the outside of your van. If they don't start looking for a shorted wire since the dash lights are usually on the same fuse circuit as the parking lights are on. If the outside lights work and the fuse isn't blown then your headlight switch is probably to blame and will need to be replaced.

2007 tail light fuse location honda crv

I had this problem with my 2007 Honda CRV -- all the lights worked EXCEPT the tail/running lights and the license plate light. The other tail lights worked -- brake, reverse, indicators, and hazards. Front headlights also worked, but when the headlights went on the back tail lights did not (not to safe for driving at night!!)
The fuse was #15 in the interior fuse box (under the dash driver side) with the label "small exterior lights" ( also check fuse #19 labeled "small lights main"). The cause of my problem, I believe, is a bad or lose wire in my license plate light.

2003 Sienna tail lights don't work when headlights are on

Look under the dashboard, next to/above the park brake pedal, for the interior fuse box. It has a black plastic cover. Remove the TAIL fuse, and see if it is blown. This should get you fixed up. Hope this helps, and Thanks for choosing FixYa.

2007 Tacoma Tail light problem.

Check the taillamp fuse on the truck. If it is blown, you either have a short in the wiring of the camper, or the 7 pin inverter box on the camper.
