My 2006 eddie bauer expedition the 6 disc cd changer will not work it sounds like it tries to load then clicking on the radio it says error

A would try my local Ford dealer first, then I would try to go on-line because there are many businesses that will repair your :head" and return it to you by mail or a commercial carrier.
I have had good success with these myself.

it doesint read a copy disc if it is not a copy disc it is that you should try to clean it because it is durdy put on a cleaner on a disc and put the disc inside it should work again use a spray cleaner only

It may be bad. If it won't read nothing, the eye is not picking it up. Get a new one.

just replaced my 2006 Pontiac G6 GT Monsoon 6 CD changer with an identical model pulled from a totaled car.How do I reprogram it so it works on my car.

Mine had a similar problem (radio/tape casette days a 2 decades ago) Had to return the radio 3 times till they finally fixed it correctly. It was a problem internal to the radio. Sounds like you may have a compnent loose & not soldered well to the PC board. Or maybe it's a bad component & got fried. (output transistors ?)

06 expedition 6 cd player and having the same issues,,, Disconnect battery and all 6 cd are stuck inside. "Error cd" shows when pushing eject. Looked everywhere and nothing shows how to fix it. I dont want to buy another radio/cd player for something that ford should know and how to fix?

I had the same problem i just decided to pull the whole thing out and get a new radio and single disc cd changer put in and so far it works fine.
