HOW TO INSTALL A TIMMING BELT ON1991 VOLVO740

I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD CAR ACTED LIKE IT WAS LOOSING POWER AND SUDENLY DIED CHECKED THE FUEL FILTER AND FUEL PUMP EVERYTHING WAS GOOD I WAS TOLD TO CHECK THE TIMMING BELT AND SURE ENOUGH IT JUMED TIME BUT NOW THE QUESTION IS HOW TO INSTALL A NEW TIMMING BELT

REMOVED ALL BELTS, WATER PUMP FAN, SHROUD AND PULLEY.
REMOVE TIMING COVER REMOVE CRANK SHAFT PULLEY.
. PUT ENGINE IN TOP DEAD CENTER SO YOU CAN SEE TIMING MARKS. REVERSE PROCEDURE. GOOD LUCK

Have you checked the fuel pressure? I think that the fuel pressure is between 55 or 60 pounds. They won't run under 52 pounds.

sounds like your altenator is bad. it will bring down your battery. your serpintine belt could also be bad and slipping. my bet is the altenator went bad and your batteru is now bad also. replace both and you should be good to go

Keep it simple and replace the fuel filter first, if thr fiiler has not been replaced within 30,000 miles or 1 year. Then it's a good chance that it's going to be the fuel filter.

Died driving down the road, no problem turning over, but won't start
It souds like the same problem i had a few months ago, have your timing belt checked, i am most certainly sure that it is the belt, usualy the belt breaks, or slips off the pulley.......hope this is helpful.
