I have a 2001 sonata V6 and recently I had check engine light on. The code is P0303 - cylinder 3 misfire. I would like to change the spark plug and wire first, but I don't have manual and no idea which one is cylinder 3. Could someone tell me how the 6 cylinders are located on the engine.

For starters if your going to do 1 do all. The locations are from left to right when standing in front of the car. 1, 3, 5
2, 4, 6
wires are 3

You have to order a plenum gasket, as you have to move the upper plenum to access the rear plugs. Replace the plugwires (Around $44 at Advance Auto) It's not worth removing the plenum again to replace the wires so do it the first time. Examine your plugs. They should be a light honey brown color. A dark plug means it's not firing efficiently. While you have the plenum off I would suggest doing a compression check of the # 3 cylinder, should be around 120. Mytwo cents!
