The transmission cable might have been broken/cut. if it is using fluid. the cap could be worn out and fluid is insufficient, change them and refill fluid.

I recently tried the DIY service and repair manuals from a website and it actually helped me repair transmission problem in my jcb 3cx site-master. it wont move forward or reverse, engine is good both solenoids for forward and reverse work.

When this light blinks it indicates a problem exists with the electronically controlled transmission, have it scanned for the fault code that is store in the control module.
This is an indication that the forward clutch pack has failed in the transmission or that the clutch pack has low hydraulic pressure from an internal fluid leak or a defective check ball. Pull the pan off the bottom of the transmission, if it is really full of dark sludge you will need to replace/repair the transmission.
Problem is the detent springs for 4/5 gear have gone weak .
If you are handy its take the top off the gearbox from inside the car and you will see the plug then the springs and balls .
If not its a transmission shop job.
My Torque on demand and 4 hi/low flashed for a couple days then stopped on it's own. There is a sensor somewhere under the truck that gets dirty from I was told.
