SOURCE: How do you change the cabin air filter in a 2009 Hyundai Sonata?

I just did this on our 2007 Sonata. 1. open the glove box. On both sides of the glove box, there is a black tab which prevents the glove box from opening to far. The Chilton manual says to remove these, but that is more difficult then simply pressing inward on the sides of the glove box to release them from the channel. Now the glove box should open even more. Next, remove the piston arm from the right side of the glove box. You can do this by removing the panel on the side of the dash, but you first need to open the passenger door. You can also just use a screwdriver or other tool to slip the piston of without removing the dash side panel. Now with the glove box hanging fully open, you can see the cabin filter box. There are tabs on both sides of the front that you simply press together in order to slide the filter out of the box. This whole process from beginning to end should only take about 10 minutes and is very simple.

Out under the wipers, you have a plastic cover across at the windshield and under the wipers. Plastic tabs hold it in place.

SOURCE: i am looking for access to the cabin air filter for my Santa FE.

the cabin air filter is located behind the glove box door, there probably is not one installed as they where an option at time of sale, although if you want to add one the location is there.

Pontiac g8 change air filter

I assume you mean the cabin air filter. The engine air filter is easy, assuming you've changed one on any other car before (hint: it's a box with some clips on the right side). The cabin air filter is a bit more involved, see below.

Having problem changing air filter with 2001 Hyundai Elantra.. I know it's behind the glove box, and tried removing it, but I couldn't quite figure out how to. I did remove two clips on each side, but...

Remove the two screws holding the bracket to the back of the glove box and lower the bracket. Then remove the glove box and you can access the cabin air filter door
