There are several things that can cause your engine to not have spark. It could be a crankshaft position sensor or the circuits to the sensor, it could be the security system "thinking" that the car is being stolen and has the ignition system locked out. It could be the ignition voltage circuit to the ignition coils, etc., etc....

In any case, your ignition system must be diagnosed to find the cause. This would include scanning the computers that control your ignition and security systems for possible fault codes.

It seems you have a timing problem. Have the engine timed properly. If that does not work it could be a craked rotor or distributor cap. have all these checked.

SOURCE: 2002 Nissan Sentra car will not start but battery is 100% charged, will start when boosted though

check your battery cables to see if the cables themselves are corroded and also check the connections where they connect to the vehicle that they are clean
positivecable will connect at the starter and the negative will connect to the engine some where.
if this does not help then have your starter tested to see if it is dragging. as it could be the armature or the brushes in the starter.

2004 Nissan Sentra SE-R cranks but won't start!

It is not a problem of sensor as it is not showing any dashboard light, neither it seems to be a problem of battery as battery gets charged after driving if the alternator is working fine or otherwise it won't start at all after overnight standing. It could be a problem of starter solenoid as it has copper windings and when the copper winding gets old it functions intermittently. I am sharing a video that will explain it better.

1995 Nissan Sentra stalled while driving, replaed air sensor, battery and starter, still won't start

Can you hear the starter cranking the engine over?

Have you checked for spark?

Have you checked for fuel pressure?

MY PLYMOUTH GRAND VOYAGER 'S HEADLIGHT'S AND DASH LIGHTS WORK, BUT THE ENGINE WON'T TURN OVER. THERE IS NO SPARK COMING FROM THE ELECTRICAL WIRES.

When you say no spark, are you talking about the spark plugs, or just the general wiring?

If the engine won't turn over, then it isn't moving, and if it isn't moving then you need to check the following in this order:

1) Does the battery have power i.e. around 12.4 volts or over? No? Charge, test or replace battery.

2) Do the car's head lights dim considerably if turned on when attempting to crank? Yes? Possible lack of battery charge or faulty battery.

3) Assuming the battery is fine, can you turn the dash warning lights on and off with the key? No? Faulty ignition switch.

4) Is there a click sound when you turn the key, but no starter motor spin? Check starter motor connections or replace starter motor.

If none of the above prove to be of help, then please report.

I have a 1990 Nissan Sentra my alternator, starter, and battery are new and it won't start , but when i touch a screwdriver to the cylinoids it will start bt i dno't know were the problem is

If your positive that the battery is fully charged and has been load tested,, then your ignition switch may be bad, if the relay is clicking that would mean its getting juice, I would strongly suggest that you have the battery checked,, with all those new parts,, it all leads back to the battery not carrying the amps it needs , if the click is heard at the starter relay

I have a nissan sentra 2001 with 170000km,1,8L. It is running 410km with full tank 50L which is very low MPG. The engine light was on and the scan said it was the O2 sensor which was replaced. Few days...

whats the new code? is it the same o2 sensor? you could have a vacuum leak causing it to set the same code. is your air filter clean? whens the last time you changed the fuel filter? had plugs installed in a long time? start with these items. they could all effect your fuel mileage. hope this helps
