Battery cable how can i remove the positive battery cable on a 2005 hyundai accent thank you

  • neilnancy Jan 06, 2009

The positive terminal has a nut on top which can be removed. The cap shaped connector on the terminal remains tight, large pliers did not budge it and I do not want to force it.

Cannot turn off alarm!!!!!!!

I removed the cable from the battery, then I turned the ignition key only to the ACC position. I then replaced the cable back on to the battery, and turned the ignition all the way on & my car started and the alarm reset itself. I didn't have to jump start it.
