Disconnect the positive cable off the battery for ten mins. then reconnect and the light should go out. but if there are any codes on the computer that need to be addressed it will come back on

I took the module out of a2002 Sierra and it is engineered with no T10 .... ABS Sensor and Harness 2000-06 Chevy Suburban Tahoe GMC ...
I think so too. May be sulfur from the fuel on the resister card that the wiper travels over. Try adding some Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner to 1/4 tank of gas and see if it gets better.
Take your vin number to any Chevy Dealer's Parts Counter. They can pull up the parts diagram and give you a part number. The ring is most likely a dealer part. So you will need to go to the dealer anyway to buy this part.
Your Display will Eventually Stop alltogether. Happened on my 2000 Blazer and had to replace with Aftermarket Stereo. Dealer wanted WAY too much for new unit.
