SOURCE: 2005 pt cruiser check engine light came on

P0457 is a loose gas cap, P0456 is a small evap system leak. The seal on your gas cap is probably worn. Replace the cap, clear the codes with either a diagnostic tester or by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and reconnecting it. It will take a few days for the code to come back if it isn't fixed, but that usually does the trick. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: 2007 jeep wrangler shakes uncontrollaby after

When you say shakes i am guessing the steering wheel. If it is the steering wheel shaking, it's know as the death wobble. Check the front steering components, look for worn or broken parts. Most common for death wobble are the tie rod ends, idler arm and pitmen arm. look for play along the track bars and check the ball joints. The other thing too that will cause a death wobble is a bad alignment. there may be negative or no caster at all which would give you a death wobble. Check all of the above and keep me posted. Good luck and be safe

SOURCE: Jeep comes up with EVAP Emission Control System code- please help

YES A CAP FROM THE DEALER WILL MOST LIKELY SOLVE THIS ISSUE...SOME OF THE AFTERMARKET CAPS ARE NOT MADE TO THE PROPER SPECS TO MAINTAIN PROPER PRESSURE/VACUUM ON THE SYSTEM WHEN THE EVAP TEST BY THE COMPUTER OCCURS

Testimonial: "Thank you- I'll try that."

Jeep 2007 Wrangler Unlimited X 4x4 4 Doors

Sounds like a short in the electrical system. Maybe even just a loose ground wire. On the other hand...It could just as easily be a bad ECM (BRAIN)! Warranty still in tact? I hope so. Diagnostic at a certified Jeep shop... Good Luck!

PO456 code on 2002 Jeep Wrangler.Where do I start?

p0456 is ayoun evap fault honestly this is a job for a professional with the correct diagnostic equipment jsut from memory it is a vent control fault. if you have access to alldata or mitchel on demand you can get diagnostic steps for the proper diagnosis. unless you have the proper tools this is a job left to a good repair technician that you trust sorry i cant give you a straight answer but you will throw away money buy just replacing parts and hoping it fixes it, just food for thought if the code is cleared it will take time to come back the only way to conferm the repair is a evap self test that can be done with the adiquite scan tool
