2007 chrysler sebring has been acting up since new. Dealer has been trying to diagnose problem for 3 1/2 years. Car functions properly sometimes, but most of the time majority of dash lights flash, and audible ding is heard. Security (round red) light flashes along with all other lights. Car starts, but dies after 1 second. Sometimes turn key and nothing happens. No lights, dings, or starter response. I disconnect the ground under hood and wait 2 minutes and reconnect. This works sometimes but not always. Where is the security module located on my 2007 sebring. Could this be my problem. If I turn the key and a delay in instrument lights occur, the security light flashes alond with all other lights. The car wiill start but will shut off after one second. If I turn the key and instrument lights appear immediately the car will start and function properly. Usually after a few seconds or sometimes minutes all instrument lights flash, headlights flash and audible sound is heard. This happens on an intermittant schedule. It may go days without acting up. Then again, it might just function properly for seconds before acting up. The dealer can't find the problem or maybe they don't want to find the problem since I have been taking the car in since new for the same problem. Nevertheless, the car is going to leave me stranded sometimes in the future if someone cannot diagnose my problem.
