I just replace The throttle position sensor and the car seems to run wost than before is there any way to adjust the sensor???
SOURCE: How do I adjust the
Do you have the 4G37 or 4G63A or 4G63T? if you don't know.. that basically means do you have a 1.8, 2.0 SOHC, 2.0 DOHC, or a turbo-charged engine? I have an '05 Evo and i small screw on the throttle-body near where the intake connects to it. If you turn it it changes how high the engine will rev while its idleing. I'm not sure if thats what you mean because if not you may have to take it to a shop and get it recalibrated.
SOURCE: DOES THE SCAN CODE 0510 IS RELATED TO
Code PO510 commonly refers to a defective Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). But before you go replacing it check all the wiring. Make sure everything is tight and connected. Check for a wire touching metal and shorting out. Check the ground wire and see if it shares a ground with the coolant sensor or another sensor. That other sensor may be the problem and not the TPS, if it is defective and not providing a good ground

idle control valve. bad plug wires and bad plugs will all cause that as well as a air leak in the vacumn hose on galant
SOURCE: How to adjust the TPS (throttle positioning
just change the TPS sensor for a new one. It's an a electronic part and can't be ajust it

I would try driving it for a little bit first. Chryslers have an issue with TPS sensors if the battery goes dead. It's like the computer almost has to relearn the TPS. Every time we have had a problem with a TPS it has solved itself in the matter of 20-50 miles. Also, if you have a code for a TPS, try erasing it also so the computer will begin to run its checks all over again. If the issue doesn't clear up after 20 or so miles, you might want to make sure the sensor wasn't bad out of the box. That does happen with manufacturing quite often.
