How do I change the spark plugs

if you follow the spark plug wires they should lead you to the spark plug. when you remove the spark plug wire you may want to give it a little twist just to break it loose from the spark plug than pull the wire off. than you just use the right size spark plug socket to take the old plug out and to put the new plugs in once the new spark plug are in just push the spark plug wire back on. make sure you gap the spark plugs right if you don't you could end up with a misfire in that cylinder also be careful not to crack the new plugs if you do you will need to get another new spark plug.

How to change the spark plugs on my 2009 Hyundai Sonata 4 cyl.

remove 1 spark plug wire from the plug. Find a socket that fits the spark plug and connect it to the socket wrench. Put the socket on the spark plug and turn counter clock wise until the old spark plug is removed. Check the gap on the new replacement plug ( make sure you have the correct plug first). Put the new spark plug into the hole that the old 1 came out of and turn clockwise by hand making sure it is in straight, then tighten it clockwise until tight.( WARNING: DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE PLUG OR YOU WILL BREAK IT). replace the spark plug wire. repeat the process with the other 3 spark plugs. Start the vehicle. If you are replacing the wires, take off 1 wire at a time, match up the size and replace the old with the new.

How do you change spark plugs in a 2002 buick rendezvous cxl

When you change spark plugs make sure your engine is cold, if the engine is hot you have a chance of breaking the ceramic the plug is covered with. Go to your auto parts store and buy some spark plugs. Ask the auto parts clerk what the plugs need to be gapped at or you can have them do it. When ready to change plugs, again make sure engine is cold. You will need a ratchet, possibly an extention and a spark plug socket. Pull the spark plug wires from their hole each individually as to keep track of which wires go to what hole. Put your ratchet, socket and spark plug socket together and insert in hole. Turn the ratchet left as the saying goes righty tighty, lefty loosy. Pull plug from hole when all the way loose, put new plug in and tighten snugly and put wire on new plug. Repeat all these steps on other plugs.

I need to know the correct way. in which to remove spark plugs

Well you need a Rachet set with a spark plug socket for your Car. Then place the socket on the spark plug after removing the wire and turn counter clockwise to remove it. Counter clockwise is turning left if looking at a clock. Be sure not to break the spark plug wires when removing them. You must hold them tightly at the end and pull them off slowly and carefully. Once you have the spark plug end of the wire off,, put it aside but remember which spark plug it goes too. It's very important not to mix them up.

When putting your new spark plugs in be sure to set the gap correctly or buy a set of spark plugs with preset gaps. Then place the new plug into the hole and turn them clockwise to tighten by hand at first them with your sparkplug socket and rachet until the new sparkplug is snug. Not to tight. Just snug as it will tighten a bit more on it's own. Then replace the spark plug wire carefully.

How to change spark plugs?

First go buy the new spark plugs. While you are there ask the gap of the plugs, they may need to be adjusted before you install them. If so use a gaping tool to adjust the gap. One at a time remove the spark plug wire and remove the old spark plug with a spark plug socket. Turn it counter clockwise. Pull it out and put the new spark plug in and firmly tighten it, dont over do it though you dont want to strip it out. Put the spark plug wire back on and move to the next until the job is complete.
