Toyota 1985 22r pickup starts runs 2 secs dies starts runs 2min dies over & over

I can start it right up then it runs for about 2 seconds then dies just like it
s out of gas but is not and this is over and over. fuel is getting into injectors to start but not to run like they are not firing. any ideals and thanks in advance for any and all help

I have the same problem. Well one day i went to adjust my timing so i moved my truck into my carport adjusted my timing. Then i lost power to my fuel pump. So i ran deirct power to it. Now i have fuel. But it starts then dies under 2 secs. I have replaced the cold start injector,the tps,cold start time switch. ox xensor, the soleniod resister. And it did not help at all. i even tried adjusting the timing. and i have power to all my injectors to. Im goin to try putting a new ECU in it. any one no what could be wrong with my truck.

Check your plugs and distributer timing. Maybe try running some seafoam through your injectors.

if engine has good compression, and spark is good and timed.
its a bad carb.
carbs:
1:float level good?
2; jets clean
3:all air emulsion tubes inside clear.?
4: choke set right.?

How to fix my 1992 toyota pickup with v6 will start but dies in about 2 seconds. But if you keep the key turned and the starter engaged for about 5 seconds. Then it stays running?

Are you getting power to the fuel pump relay when the key is turned to the on position ?

I have dodge ram 1500 v8 model 2002 no start can you help me

If the spark is getting right.Get the fuel system checked.Its quite possible that fuel pressure is low or fuel pump not starting up right.

My 1988 300 E stops running after 10 min and will not start for 30 min. when cranking the motor to start it sounds like the timing is off

90 toyota p/u 4x4 when cold try 2 start ,it will start once quick and run 4 1 sec. then quit emediatly, then just rolls wont fire. if you can get it 2 run starts every time hot but misses and surges a bit.
