If the jeep just cranks but doesn't start right away, you might have what is known as the 'delayed start check engine light problem'. Make sure the check engine light comes on, in the dash, before cranking. If the check engine light does not come on right away, then you do have the delayed start problem and the jeep ecu needs to be repaired.
