Malibu 2004 radio unlock codes

if you after the entire unit and don`t want to buy new, which I wouldn`t due to expense. go to an auto wrecker and get a used one.

if you are needing the unlock code for the radio to make it work again the only way you can get that is from the dealership and you have to have the vin number from the vehicle it came out of as the code is attached to that vin number as part of the original equipment on that specific vehicle

My bros 2009 model had issues with the player too.. he bought some manual from a website somethng like reliable store i guess. manual was really cool, tho. was of help more than once

Radio security systems have to be disabled before they can be disconnected. Most radios I have done you have to push the 1 and 4 buttons at the same time and enter the security code. If your radio saysLOC, then you can take it to a dealer and they can reprogram it. If it says LOCKED then it thinks its been stolen and not useable in any vehicle except the one it came out of. Kind of sucks you can't replace radios they way we use to.

You can put in a new cd player with the controls for the onboard info center with this dashkit.

The only thing that is left for you to do is to remove the stereo and then disassemble it and remove it yourself. A little daunting but needs to be done. Sounds like it went in wrong and then became jammed

Unlock code for cd and radio players can be obtained for free from car dealers. Pop in a dealership and they should be able to get a code online from the manufacturer

the only other thing i can think of is that when it says enter single disk only that you do so to a point don't let it go all the way in
this may make the cd player think there is a disk in there

My CD player did the same thing on my 2005 Chevy Malibu MAXX LS.  I know it sounds weird, but disconnect the car battery from the car (resetting the whole car system), and then reconnect.  I pressed the eject button on the console, and it ejected my CD with no problem.
