SOURCE: My car is starting to

They supposedly checked all fluids but said that replacing the pump might be the solution. They removed a bracket as noted in a TSB on similiar problem which helped for a day but still having the shudder when turning at slow speeds.

Thank you

Limited slip axles require in many cases the additive. It is ***** whale oil that is added to the required gear oil. Ck with Subaru is best. They sell it in the parts department and if capable you can add it yourself. or, have the dealer service your differential fluids. fluids

Is it a lift back or window and tail gate? Either way, there is a little hole on the inside for the escape hatch. Take a small pin, wire, coat hanger, push it straight in, it should pop the window, door, whichever, might be a small button over the hole, that way you can get the door lock fixed without smashing the lock off. I never tried mine , but I know all cars have them now. Check it out.

Is a 1997 Subaru outback radiator interchangeable with 1996 Subaru outback?

Well it depends.
According to the parts book, there is a before and after 4/97 version.
Some cover 96-98 models, and some don't.
Part of the difference is where the radiator hoses are located.
I think one is a half inch wider/taller than the other too.

I must say I enjoyed reading your post, you sound very nice. The problem sounds like possibly the C-V joints may need attention. They will cause a vibration and a grinding noise very noticeable at slow speeds. I hope this helps with your situation and hope you have a wonderful day.

Clutch shudder

Ask the mechanic if the clutches both came from the same source and if they were rebuilt units from the same re-manufacturer. The material used to resurface a clutch can cause this results.

Hi there,
It could be your power steering pump. Have you put fluid in your pump lately? Try that. I hope this helps you. Let me know. Have a great day.~MWD
