2003 Trailblazer wont start

Trailblazer wont start, it's running fine, but then wont turn over when turning the key, I checked the battery I even replaced it today because it was 6 years old so i just did it in case and nothing, one thing I do notice is the steering wheel doesn't lock, any help would be appreciated. My car was running fine yesterday until I pulled into the drive way and went to turn off the ignition w/o putting it in park. The lights got dim and it made a strange humming sound. It will not turn over at all now. Jumping the battery didn't work.

car ran fine all day yesterday with easy twenty-five starts and stop. i parked it for the night. i went out today, got in,put key in dash light-up went to s with key and car had no sound,repeated from lock several times with no starer movment.

Trailblazer wont start

check your battery might need a replacement and check also your alternator might be faulty and check electrical wiring from your battery,ignition going to your starter, check fuse and relay.

My trailblazer is doing the same thing. Plus after that made my engine sound terrible like cans clankinf. Sounds like something is spinning very quickly too. Never seen such crazy crap. Junk.

Check your car's ground to make sure it's getting contact, This is the black wire from your battery, follow it till it connects to your frame. may need cleaned for better contact. If this don't work check your positive connection on your starter "the big nut" Because if even in your coil pac it would turn over just not fire, Good luck to you hope this help's.

Have a 2003 Grand Am with a 6 cyl and it will not start.Fuel pump running. Had battery,altennator, and starter check OK. Just check battery cables look ok. Dosn't do any thing. Thanks.

You mean it wont even crank at all? When you turn the key on is there anything you hear like when you try and start it doe's the starter try and engage?

2003 Trailblazer- no power after key stuck in ignition

Sounds like an antitheft problem I would start with the antitheft system. Usually when you only have one key all keys have to be programmed together even the original. When you have more than one it is easy to program additional keys.
