What needs to be done at 165,000 schedule maintenance

Normal maintenance schedule at 75,000 miles:
Replace transmission fluid.
replace engine oil.
Rotate tires.
replace engine oil filter.
inspect brakes.
check parking brake adjustment.
inspect tie rod ends, steering gearbox and boots.
inspect suspension components.
inspect driveshaft boots.
inspect brake hoses and lines.
check all fluid levels.
inspect cooling system hoses.
inspect exhaust system.
inspect fuel lines and connections.
(At 90,000 do all of above plus:
replace air cleaner element.
inspect and adjust drive belts.
replace cabin air filter.)

Right now. Unless the previous owner can show you a receipt for the job being done recently. The official service interval is 105, 000 miles for light service. This means if the car was driven by a little old lady to church, it's just about due. If this car had been driven by me, ;-) it would be long overdue.
You should have the waterpump done at the same time as it they almost always fail after a new belt is put on because the tension changes a little bit. If you don't do it, you pay for all the labor to take it apart and redo the job when it fails a week later.

actually yes some manufactures have the computer programed too come on a certain intervals for dealer check ups so too speak,have it checked just to be sure nothing is starting to go even if the car is running fine though,and check maintinence records are up too date
