How to get the cdc eject to show in honda

I had the shop add a custom wire to my plug into my phone so i can play and hear my phone on the car speakers. But the system works only in CD-C Eject mode - but pressing the CD button and the eject button and doing various other stuff does not get us to the CD-C Eject mode - how can we get this to turn on inorder to play the music off our phone? Sometimes for no reason at all when we turn on the car and press the CD button the CD-C Eject mode turns on by itself and other times it does not and we can't seem to get it to turn on

Easy take it out and fit a CD or just a plain SDcard /usb with aux input ,a belson for 35 euros from the local supermarket is brilliant for this and no one bother to break in to nick it as it appears like ordenary car radio .

I suspect that the rubber belt that drives the eject portion of the unit has broken. I suggest you remove the unit and have an teckie look at it. belts are available for most makes from tandy or other electronic parts shops.

Add Music Link to 2008 Rigeline

I haven't done this to my ridgeline, but I did it to my 1992 accord.  You can have any auto radio shop add a wire from the aux input on the back of the factory radio that comes out in a hidden place, like one of the little storage places under the radio.  Just plug it into your ipod and push the XM/AUX button on your radio, and you're good to go.  Should cost under $100.
