Diag code P0339

I am getting a P0339 code was getting both P0335 and 339 but I replaced the cks and the 335 code went away. The cel went off briefly the returned after about a mile test run. reran ignition switch test and only p0339 is showing up engine idles just fine until about 4000 rpm then sputters. Same when driving only at lower rpm.

I understand what the error code are that is why I replaced the sensor. I was hoping to find some help in solving the problem. But thanks Ken.

P0339 is Crankshaft Position Sensor A CKT Intermittent
P0335 is Crankshaft Position Sensor A CKT Malfunction

Possibly a loose or bad connection, or bad ground if it is intermittent. If you replaced the sensor and it was ok for awhile, then came back as intermittent maybe the sensor was not bad and the problem is in the wiring or connection. Not sure if the sensor can be tested. Hope this helps.

Just bought a 2001 mazda mpv coolant fluid was low refilled it & disappeared (no leak under car, etc) car temp went up to H and the cel came on. turned car off found cracked hose by battery need diag

When my car starts it stars briefly then shuts off. What could be the problem

I had this problem with my VW. The computer's anti-theft system did not recognize the chip in the key fob. I had to disconnect the car's battery to reset the computer. Only then would the engine stay running. I never found out why, the problem went away by itself.
Your problem could be something else, Is the check-engine light on? I assume that you can't tell since the motor won't stay running. The CEL will be lit when the ignition is turned on to verify that the bulb is not burned out. If it's a computer problem you may have to get the On Board Diagnostics code (OBD) read by someone with a reader.

This us ussually signs of a week Crank Positioning sensor. Get it replaced. If you have a trouble code 335 or 336, that is the discription. (some diag ports have a 1 in front going by 1335 or 1336.)
