SOURCE: '93 acura legend sometime will
My 93 legend starts up when i turn the key, but sometimes when i release the key the car will cut off.
I had the fuel pump replaced some weeks ago thinking that was the problem but now its doing it again. Any solutions will be much appreciated.

Adjust the front clips to both sides of the sun roof to ensure a good tight fit. The adjustment may mean the removal of the factory fitted head lining to adjust the roof, but if you do it carefully, it will clip back into place, but a word of help, fit the rear of the sun roof when it's in the tilt position, leaving you to fit the head lining carefully from within. Keep some carpet cleaner to hand so any finger marks can by removed straight away and a t towel to dry the damp residue
SOURCE: 93 acura legend just replaced alternator and
I f the car turned over before you replaced the alternator then maybe the problem is not the alternator but ignition issues, sometime the igniton module goes on these cars without warning my advise would be to remove one of the spark plugs to check for spark, remove wire then plug in plug to wire lay the plug on a part of the motor that is metallic, have an assistant turn the car over and try to start look to see if plug has a blue spark or purple don't do test in direct sunlight. If a good spark is seen go on to next test stick your finger into the hole where the spark plug goes have an assistant turn motor over you should hear and feel alot of pressure trying to push your finger out of hole if you don't feel a good deal of pressure you probably broke the timing belt and the cylinder head must be removed and rebuilt because of the nature of the designed interference engine (valve gets hit by piston bending it when timing belt breaks) good luck

One of your redundant magnetic speed pick-ups are bad. Probably a couple hundred bucks service from your dealer. Worth it. I also had a low idle problem when this happened; car would die at low rpm. New mag pick up fixed that also.

Hi this is average mileage for the age of the car just test drive it and check you can get all gears and listen for any knocking noises coming from the engine as this could be expensive engine rebuild.
Also check the steering lock in both ways and listen for any noises whilst driving on full lock as this would mean new drive shafts and wheel bearings need replacing.
Also check for any smoke coming out of exhaust as this could also mean engine rebuild.
check all oil water etc.
If all this is ok then go ahead and buy the car as they are pretty reliable and easy to maintain just make sure its been serviced regular and you should have no problems just check the front of the car underneath the bonnet for any accident damage because if its had a front end bump it could be out of allignment and dangerous to drive but you should notice any problems of the sort on a road test.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Good look with buying your car and wish you all the best...
