When you turn a/c on blows hot on the drivers side and cold on the passagers vents. Can turn truck off and back on fixes problem but only for a few minuets then starts back with hot on driver side cold on passager side.Is there an actuator or something that is bad that I can replace if so where is it and instructions how to replace.
Gm uses 3 or more blend door deflector flap actuators/motors in the heater box - dependent on vehicle model - these blend doors controlling - temp - windshield defrost - floor - dash vent - drivers side or passengers side air flow - ever heard them thumping and snapping
Needs gas topping up end of story .

That was a good suggestion by Molson. Also, if you have been doing a lot of heavy hauling, have them check the strainer, which could be a problem as well.

the a/c system may be low on a charge. have a a/c shop ck it. if its low, have them ck for a leak. if unable to locate a leak, they may need to rechagre it, and add a UV dye and you may have to bring it back several weeks later.

Had the same thing happen to my truck, the blen door actuator is under the console on passenger side, but the heater core is going to be clogged if you dont have any heat coming through, but a/c works..
SOURCE: my car heater only works on one side and on driver
heater controls i have changed several in center of dash
