Gm uses 3 or more blend door deflector flap actuators/motors in the heater box - dependent on vehicle model - these blend doors controlling - temp - windshield defrost - floor - dash vent - drivers side or passengers side air flow - ever heard them thumping and snapping

That was a good suggestion by Molson. Also, if you have been doing a lot of heavy hauling, have them check the strainer, which could be a problem as well.

SOURCE: I have a 2004 Honda Accord and the Driver's side

the a/c system may be low on a charge. have a a/c shop ck it. if its low, have them ck for a leak. if unable to locate a leak, they may need to rechagre it, and add a UV dye and you may have to bring it back several weeks later.

I have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 4.7 engine the heater works but blows hot air every where except the 2 vents right in front of the driver which blows cold air.

The vents may not be connected to the ducts under the dash, or a passage door may not be opening from the heater case to those vents. The doors may be cable operated or vacuum operated, or possibly operated from a body control module. Good luck.

My 2005 silverado heater is blowing hot on pasenger`s side and cold on driver`s side.

I had the same problem due to a bad battery. When I replaced the battery the same issue with heat on passager side and cool on the drivers side. After turning the engine off and back on five times the computor reset it's self and both sides blew cool.

Check movement of vent doors on that side. Sounds like they aren't moving over as they should. (Or hose fell off on passenger side.)
