Please dont think Im talking down to you when I ask this, but did you try turning the steering wheel? If the steering wheel is got tension on it ie against a curb, etc then the key wont turn in the cylinder. If that isnt the case then if you have the inclination you can try taking the steering column apart and replacing the ignition switch, or get it towed to your mechanic...

it is located behind the center console under the dash. by removing the side panels to the center console the ecu/computer is accessible.

it should be located on the passenger side towards the front of the engine.

on 92 models they have no ajustment,they have automatic hydraulic lash adjustment.only time youll have problems is if oil level is low or camshaft is worned out!
