2007 kia rio losing power when going up hills

Random misfires could be gas related- low fuel pressure, vacuum leaks or air leaks upsetting the air/fuel mixture ratio, clogged air filter or fuel filter. Could be ignition related- worn spark plugs, possibly. Or could be an internal mechanical problem-possible valve train malfunction.
Start with a fuel pressure test. check vacuum hoses for leaks, check intake manifold and throttle body assembly for leaks. If you have an exhaust leak at or near the engine, can cause misfires. Air going into the engine is metered by the mass air flow sensor in the big air boot on the throttle body. If extra air gets into the engine through a vacuum leak or a loose hose, the engine computer won't know it, so the air/fuel mixture will be too lean, resulting in misfiring. Several things to check-good luck.

My hyundai elantra has the air bag light on i scanned it and the tell me the oxigen sensor was bad should it be that the air bag light is on

air bad light has nothig to do with a oxigen sensor the reason you got a oxigen sensor codes is cause the air bag system uses a different kind of code tester most auto parts stores dont have them.

I recently purchased a C200 Merc with 162 000 Km. On two ocassions the car lost power and began to idle roughly. It would not accelerate at all and barely moved. A few moments later everthing went back to...

most possibly it could be the air mass sensor ( air flow meter) first check air flow meter, if you get in to the workshop and fixed the diagnose cpu you can see the fault code, if not the air flow meter next have to check crank angle sensor, if you check the fault code you can see what's wrong, if the fault code like mixtcher information retch or Lin replace air flow meter,

Problem starting 1999 escort. has fuel, spark, timinging is dead on the money. acts like it will start but wont

Check the air mass meter or air mass sensor, also the crack sensor can cause this fault.

EGR valve but the car will normally still start with that fault. most common is the air mass sensor, you can just try and clean it first and check the wires to the sensor its most likely the air mass sensor or air related fault.
