Does anyone know which fuse is for the instrument panel? Anyone else seen this problem?

alot of time when you cant get power to cruise control the brake fluid is low enough that it wont let you switch on but i dont know if that matters for the airbag

The one that says instrument panel,check those fuses.

I don't think there is a fuse for the dash lights.
On newer GM trucks the lighting is handle by the body computer, the switches provide ground to the BCM and power for the dash lights comes from it.
The headlight switch provides a ground to the BCM and to the headlight relays. All of the external lights have fuses.
If you can't find a fuse for dash lights in the owners manual I will say it has been dropped.

The fuse box is under the instrument panel on the driver's side , also , there is a power distribution box is in the engine compartment. Be sure to unplug your negative battery cable first.

check the cluster dimmer switch make sure not turned all the way down to keep instrument cluster lights from glowing brightly.if dimmer switch not turned way down look for blowed instrument cluster fuse.

• You have a 30 amp circuit breaker that controls the window. This fuse box is under the instrument panel on the passenger-side. Just pull of the access panel with your fingers to expose the fuses. Please see diagram below for a visual. Looking for spot #401.
