Left Brake light bulb 03 civic lx

Why do you need to change a bulb's normal function when there is already a Brake light bulb fitted. What is the problem you are having?
You would have to rewire the actual light fitting assembly itself but these tend to be prebuilt sealed units with a mass produced wiring board.
If your having issues with a faulty brake light check the fuses, bulbs and wiring connectors on the back of the light fitting. It is usually a lot easier to simply replace a faulty light fitting.

sounds like a bad earth/ground to me, common fault with brake lights

check if u have brake fluid in da resovor and check da button above the brake peddles

Does it crank at all when you turn the key. Do any of the other dash lights work. Does the horn work and sound loud or soft/muffled

If a Honda is not producing enough amps it could cause it to stall but the battery should die if its the alternator. Sounds like the coil or distibutor.

It sounds like you just blew the fuse for the interior lights. Check your fuse panel and replace the fuse. Was it just the bulb that broke or the light fixture, itself? If the light fixture is broken, you should remove it before replacing the fuse, and make sure the power wire is not touching ground. Tape up the end(s) of the wire(s), then replace the fuse.

look for a symbol of a light with a brake pedal next to it in the handbook or the fusebox cover, or maybe a circle with a pedal in it. it doesnt sound like the fuse though as the the centre light is still working from what i can gather and all three lights will be wired on the same cicuit so will have the same fuse. to avoid any wasted time and money i'd recommend checking the bulbs first, then i'd be checking for power at the bulb holder with a voltmeter or test lamp. hope this helps

The turn signal switch and 4 way flashers have the relays built inside. If fuses and flasher is good, then switch is bad.

the little PASEO BUZZER may have failed or is not getting power to it

90000 Miles on the Timing Belt. Do not let this go! A timing belt failure can cause internal engine problems.

Should cost around 200 or so, depending upon your local labor rates.
