My trunk is closed and will not open. The key will not open the trunk (the lights do flash twice, after I turn the trunk lock with the key). The key fob won't open the trunk (though I do hear the engine of the latch release devise, when I hit the button on the key fob). The trunk release latch inside the car won't open the trunk. I don't have the button that would release the backseat, allowing me to enter the trunk that way. (Perhaps, that is another question for another thread?) My spare tire, of course, and a few other items are in the trunk. I don't know what to do!
SOURCE: Inside trunk release won't open
1. Open trunk
2. Place latch in lock position
3. Pull inside trunk release to see what isn't moving
4. If trunk key won't turn, the key may be worn out and need to be replaced

If you will turn the ignition on, press & hold the door lock release button to the left . . . . viola!
