Battery change changed the battery in my 04 dodge stratus and now the radio, dome light, power locks do not work....help!

    i forgot to mention that i did check the fuse and all checked out fine....sorry. someone i know asked if i had keyless entry and there is a way that you reset it from there...i do not have keyless. also they mentioned that if i disconnect the battery again it will reset everything. i figure ifi do that the car may not start next time. have you heard of this before?

Check the fuse panel, make sure u didnt blow a fuse

    yeah i heard of that, it will restart, dont worry about that.... take both terminals off the battery and leave them off for 5-10 minutes and reconnect it, should reset it, if not try and take it to ur local autozone or parts store and ask them to hook up the OBD tool, (on board diagnostic) that will tell u what is wrong

There is no relay covering all 3 of these! Most likely a fuse blown, check fuse box inside and under hood of vehicle!

I have a 1997 Dodge Stratus and my power locks, power mirrors, radio and dome light all won't work. All of the fuses are fine. I have no idea where to start.
Without wire colors and schematics. It is hard to start anywhere. You need them. You need an OHM/VOLT meter also. Alldata and Mitchel have good wiring schematics. You get the stuff you need and post schematics, I will walk you though to fix them.

How do I get my electronics to work again?
I would also check the relays and the fuses in the engine drivers side I believe. Also the ones inside. Yes I do believe there is a fuse behind the stereo but when my battery died in my 04 durango it killed the cd player but the radio worked. I would check all the stuff you can to your ability. Does your stratus have a box next to the postive cable to the battery where it hooks on the terminal. You may need to replace that.

I have a 04 dodge stratus and the dome lite and radio and data link connector and power locks and trunk dont all work.the fuse is good i put new one in and still wont work.now what do i do?
I have the same problem with my 04 stratus cant get car inspected cause data link so the cant inspect emmisons, anyway i was told it may be the bcm (body control module) if it is buy a used one from junk yard they are a little expensive. or it could be relay since fuses usually dont do so many things (dome llight, power locks, radio, data link)

If you already checked your fuses & they are good you might want to look for an in line fuse in the wiring
