I just changed the sparkplugs yesterday and now my car wont start. Took it to a shop and they said the sparkplugs had too much oil leaking into them and that it might be that I need to do a major tuneup for $180 and change the valve cover gasket for an additional $75. But they are still not sure if this will fix the problem that my car wont start or sometimes turns off when I stop pressing on the gas.

There's another set of seals below the rocker arm assembly that will leak into the spark plug holes. This is a fairly big job to fix, maybe best to keep draining the oil out periodically. Bearings are probably fine.
May need an idle valve, but they can clog with carbon- I'd take it off and check that first. Cleaning that out just may solve that.

What leeler5 is saying is that possibly your valve seals are leaking oil into the combustion chamber and fouling the plugs.

Oil in spark park plugs

You have leaking spark plug grommet/seals under the valve cover, and most likely being a 91, also have leaking cam tower o-rings. The first is just a matter of replacing the valve cover gasket set. The second requires removal of the cam tower/rocker arm shaft assy. to access the o-ring seals between them and the head. If you are not an experience mechanic, I do not recommend doing this yourself. It is easy to damage parts and bend valves if you don't seat it properly.

Does my 91 honda accord have a coil

Yes. when you look under the hood from each spark plug there is a spark plug wire going from each individual spark plug to the ignition coil (pack). If it is your problem they are relatively simple to change out and are usually held in place with a few small bolts/screws. Make sure and disconnect the battery first.

Oil in spark plugs

you mean oil under plug wires? your plugs are in the center of the valve cover? if so, you have a vlave cover leak, the oil will rise and short out the plugs so they will not fire. remove the oil from around the plugs, then replace the valve cover gasket and plugs, try to start again

Oil around spark plugs on 1992 honda accord

Yes the oil can cause the car to lose spark, the oil leak could be caused by the valve cover gaskets around the spark openings, but 9 times out of 10 it is the spark plug tube "O" rings. The top of the valve train comes off of the head, the "O" rings are between the two halves, that will fix the oil leak.
