1998 Pontiac Grand Prix SE 3.1L V6...I need the wiring diagram for the Ignition Key Lock solenoid. For some reason it is not working. I have 11.53v on the power side and ground side to battery has 11 ohms of resistance. The solenoid will not release so that you can remove the key from the ignition. If you put battery power and ground directly to the solenoid it works fine. I need to know where the solenoid gets it's power from. Any help would be appreciated.
The closed park position switch within the automatic transaxle supplies voltage to the steering electric park lock. The energized electric park lock pulls the mechanical lock in the ignition key cylinder away from the cylinder. The ignition key can then be turned to the LOCK position. The key can then be taken out of the cylinder.
I have 11.53v on the power side and ground side to battery has 11 ohms ? do a voltage drop test on the ground side not ohms . Do you know what voltage drop is ? Learn the right testing procedure , you could have broken wire strands inside the insulation , apply current an the circuit won't work correctly , but would show ok with ohm test's .

SOURCE: what does a P0102 code mean?
P0102 - Mass Airflow Circuit Low Input
Check to make sure the mass air flow sensor is plugged in and has a good connection. Do you happen to use a re-usable air filter such as a K&N? Often times when people recharge the re-usable filters they use too much oil which causes the the MAF sensor element to get dirty. Sometimes removing the sensor and cleaning the element very carefully with electronics cleaner can fix the problem.
By the way, the mass air sensor is mounted between the intake tube and air filter usually.

I believe it's a warning light malfunction. In other words, have it scanned and see if any codes come up. There is conflicting reports but basically your vehicle is trying to tell you something by way of a warning light on dash, that's not working.
SOURCE: where is the Mass Air Flow Sensor loccated?
Pull of the grey cover and right before the intake its a black thing about two inches wide with two screws and a wire harness

Possibly shift interlock problem check the btsi fuse in the instrument fuse panel. There is a shift lock actuator in the column or center console that could be your culprit depending on if you have a column or floor shifter.
