A friend of mine just replaced the power steering pump in my 2000 Durango. It worked fine for a day, and then it starting leaking...I am missing the o-rings that go on the hoses and need to know what size they are? I called CarQuest (where I purchased the pump) and they were no help at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I agree with my colleagues.
Just to add, I've seen people take o-ring that was a little too big and cut the o-ring down to size, then used super glue to put o-ring back together, hey, it worked.
I'm not advising you do that, I'm just saying I've seen it done for different components.
Napa is for pros
If it's a new pump and is leaking take it back.
Normally buy a box of orings all sizes sure too get suitable o rings in it

Try a can of "Bars' Leak" for power steering leaks 1st available at your local auto parts store. It's cheap and can't hurt but may fix your problem!
Advanced Auto Parts has a tool lending policy and a lot of good advice!
