How to change spark plugs in a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS, V-6

I was getting ready to go buy the plugs when I noticed I can only find 3 plugs up front, the other wires dissappear somewhere else. Help!

The three plugs in the back are a bit tricky but 2,4,6 are all back there 6 is right by the O2 sensor you might have to feel around for them but you don't need a jack or any special tools just a ratchet, small extension 5/8 SP socket slide the metal sleeve forward and yank ******* the rubber plug wires after a while they will come loose 4 it about 3 inches to the left of 6 and 2 is back behind the coolant Reservoir

The fuel filter is located in the pressure line that runs from the fuel tank to the engine, near to the fuel tank.
Keep the engine off for few hours before replacing the filter, to get rid of some pressure in the lines.

The ck engine light should not be ignored, what sensor was shown to be bad ? Have it scanned again and replace the sensor that is bad if it still runs rough you might want to consider a tune up. Plugs, wires, fuel and air filter's and clean the throttle body with some gumout. It could also be the IAC motor Idle Air Control. Good Luck

2004 monte carlo ss 3.8 engine diagnostic message "cylinder 5 misfire"- will changing the spark plugs resolve this issue?

it is a good place to start, replace ignition wires and plugs, for that year 3800 i recomend autolite iridium plugs and premium 7MM wires.
once you replace the parts erase the code and see if it returns.
cylinder 5 is the 3rd counting from the left on front of engine.

Hi. my 2003 monte carlo ss is blowing cold air when I put the heater on? I did notice I need a anti freeze flush. Could this be the problem?

a system flush is a good idea this time of the year.make sure the system is full.water may not be getting to the heater core.also check heater control valve if apply.

Car won't start - Monte Carlo SS 2004

there is a coil pack for spark plug wires that could be arking to the engine(which you can see at night very well) or one of the sensors have gone bad , test the night visual of the coil pack after testing for spark at the spark plugs. so first you need to know if you have spark ,if you do then it may be one of the timming sensors
