maybe the tpms light tire pressure monitor system in my tiburon that was the only light i did not recognize and i looked it up and come to find out that was it the TPMS light put the same amount of air in your tires and see if it goes off. but if you could write back and explain what the light looks like cant really answer it if i dont know what it looks like. but that was my expierence

that is your security light. it means there is a problem with your anti theft system. car will need to be scanned tested to see what code is being set

If you look in the owners manual it will identify the symbol on the light.
But by what you are describing it sound like a low coolant level light. You might want to check the antifreeze level.

IDK about your car. But, the button on the gear shft is a turbo button. A S should illuminate on the dashboard. Mmmm makes the car go super fast!!! LOVE IT. and the next to my gear shift is a button of a Snow flake, I believe its for traction control. I could be wrong. I have a '99 Cadillac catera

That is usually a tire pressure sensor warning light telling you that your tire pressure is at an unsafe level or that a sensor is bad. Think of that symbol as a cutaway of a tire.
