ask a parts store what it means but dont just replace aan item w out more opinions--a bettr scan u git in a private shop--some cars disconnectn batt wil clear code-if it comes back then its important--a scanner at the store can reset too
the aan and mln is the modle it goes to. aan is for sls and the mln is for deville. as long as the conectors are the same thair should be no problems. i changed a 4t60e out of a 95 deville and the id tag was difrent then the replacement transmission id tag and a year later its still driving so . im gonna say ya it should be fine
If you assist it by hand and then when it's open, spray some silicone lubricant into the guides as far in as you can get. If that doesn't help you made need a new motor drive, or the cables have to be lubricated. There should be aan acsess panel near the lower center of the inside of the window.
the altinator is the only thing that can cause this battory cant put out that kind of voltage the altinator has a built in part on most called a regulator that drops it down some have an external regulater even the computer cant make it produce that kind of voltage the most likely problem would be alt or wiring to the alt can get bad ones from time to time
