Replaced coil, wires, cap + button... still no start Coil is getting power, Fuel pump works.. Engine is turning over, but it sounds like its skipping a beat[?] if that makes sense?, Like a doo-doo-doo-doo-duh-doo-doo-doo-doo-duhh... Please help!
Here is how I found to cope with this until a permanent solution will be found. Before starting , you switch the shift to "D" (drive) and turn the ignition key to start. Obviously , the car won't start, but what it does it builds up pressure somewhere . You can hear from outside that something is putting some air pressure. Then switch the shift back to "P" park and try to start along with pushing the gas pedal as you start
Is it getting spark? remove one spark plug wire and put a spark plug in it, hold the body of the plug against an unpainted metal part of the engine or body with an insulated tool (like a plastic handled screwdriver) and get someone to wind the engine over. You should see spark at the plug. If not, check to see if the igniter module is switching the coil correctly (might want to search on the net for this procedure, too hard to explain here). Probly best to just replace the igniter module anyway with the age of the vehicle.

There is no igniter module ( Is that suppose to be inside my distributor? ) If so, My car doesn't have one.
