Either the dash light dimmer is turned off or the dimmer control is defective.

SOURCE: Yukon XL - Gas guage not working

you have a broken sending unit . it could probably be located inside the tank. must be replaced. can not be repaired.
have a sending unit ready and bring down the tank then replace it.

SOURCE: I have a 2005 Yukon 125K miles - fuel guage

what's happening, is the level sensor in the fuel tank is getting worn out, and it thinks it's out of fuel when you actually still 1/2 to 1/4 of a tank left. The only way to rectify this is to put a new fuel pump in, as it is only available as an entire unit. If you can live with it, it'll probably last quite some time, but if not, you'll have to look at a pump assembly. Hope you get it situated soon! Feel free to reply back if you have other questions

SOURCE: I have a 2003 GMC Yukon XL that is now

There was not a recall, but there was a class action settlement where GM agreed to extend the warranty on certain vehicles for this problem. Check www.gmspeedometerrecall.com to see if you qualify.

SOURCE: 2006 Yukon: Heater doesn't get warm at speeds

CHECK ANTIFREEZE LEVEL IN RADIATOR MAKE SURE COOLANT LEVEL NOT TOO LOW.MOST OF THE TIME LOW COOLANT LEVEL WILL CAUSE POOR HEAT PROBLEMS.

Lights or fuse for my speed odemeter guage and heater/air conditioning system

These lights for the dash are controlled by a rheostat instrument control dimmer switch next to the main light switch for the headlights, it is either turned off (have seen this dozens of times) or it is defective. Below is a picture of the switch assembly I speak of. The thumb wheel next to the knob is the dimmer control.

I have a 2007 yukon, the gas gage is not working and it stays at quater tank. I had it in the shop and they have gone all through the wiring, the clutter, the sending unit, what else could be wrong.

I would check your fuse box under the hood. They have had issues.I would also check the guage operation. You may have to take it the dealer for that, they can sweep all the guages and tell you if they are bad or not.

Hello: You may have a inaccurate oil pressure sensor, you might try replacing the sensor but you have to remove the intake manifold to access the oil pressure sensor

2007 GMC Yukon gauge cluster not working, doors lock continuously going down the road, but it still runs

I have a 2007 GMC Yukon and all of the guages (speed, oil, battery, etc.) recently stopped working for no apparent reason. The backlight still works but the guages do not. Could this be something as simple as a fuse? What should I do?

Yukon wont start

Ok. sounds like you have already replaced the most likely suspects, but let me ask you a few questions to see if I can help you. When you try to start the vehicle is it firing? Do you have fuel pressure getting to the injectors? O.K. this next question will sound a little strange, but it will tell me if the computer control system is working. When you try to crank the vehicle, does the RPM guage move at all while engine is spinning? Let me know the answers and I will try to help you.
