No heat I have no heat the blowersruns, can change temp. setting and the car temp is ok.

this is caused by the air temp control blend door actuator motor being defective,($25 part) it can be changed without removing the dash as the factory manual says, u must remove the glove box door and liner, it is very hard to get at and best left to the dealer.

A possible plugged heater core or thermostat stuck open.

Peugot 407 heater not working

You more than likely have a problem with the temperature control blend door inside the air ducting, this door sits between the heater core and the AC evaporator core and mixes the air for the desired temp at the registers/vents. More than likely it is sticking due to being warped from heat. To replace this door and its actuator requires the dash be removed from the car.

No heat, over heating

Not all new thermostats are actually working thermostats. It may require a second one. However,if the fan does not work it will be hard to tell.Is there a fan belt running to it?The goop that was added to it could actually plug up the the rad coils or rods and make it extremely hard to cool itself. It needs to be flushed.

Heat only works at 3000 rmp after car has come up to temp. If rpm drops below 3000 heat temp at vents will drop. Have changed the thermastat with no positive results. Temp gage has shown a quicker rise in...

Is the coolant level ok? After replacing the thermostat, did you bleed the air from the system? The bleeder should be at the front (on engine near radiator). Low coolant level, or air in the system can cause what you describe.

My heat blow cold some body told me i need resistor on a 91 Buick regal unlimited where do i find it

the resister only changes the fan speed
if you have not heat
first check coolant level if it's down then you have a leak that will cause no heat if it's ok
then run the vehicle and make sure the engine temp gauge reads about half if not change the thermostat if the engine temp is ok
then grab the heater hoses see if they are hot then the heater core is plugged and if the heater hoses are hot
then there is a problem with the heater control head
hopr this helps

Heat does not work. coolant level ok and temp is ok

Might try checking the temp blend door operation or the temp blend door actuator. If all good there perhaps the control head itself is faulty.

No heat in the car

Check louvers that allow air through the heater core ducts. You should hear them move when you change from cold setting to hot setting on temperature dial. Listen closley to the ductwork.

Temp control switch does not regulate temp i get heat on all settings except max ac

switch prolly not bad but you might wanna look into your heater control valve. valve not closing and letting the hot coolant fill your heat exchanger rather than recycling it back to the cooling system. The heat is over powering your a/c system and you're only getting a bit of cooling when you have the a/c on max. try it out
