when was the last tuneup? is there a spark plug wire or wires touching metal? how many miles on engine? it may also be a fuel system problem like dirty injectors or a bad filter.

You need a tune up. Timing belt might need to be replaced!

Probably you have a cracked or otherwise bad Distributor Cap. I would have changed the dist. cap and rotor first, and probably the wires too. You said you changed the boots, did that include the wires?

Pay attention to the order of wires before removing from cap. Draw yourself a diagram.
Are you sure you returned the plug wires to correct plug?

I would take it back and demand a refund. Could be the crank or cam sensors, an intake leak, faulty coil, or a list of other components.

When my car is ran on computer is has cose PO300 PD. What does this indicate?

DTC P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
Basically this means that the the car's computer has detected that not all of the engine's cylinders are firing properly.

A P0300 diagnostic code indicates a random or multiple misfire. If the last digit is a number other than zero, it corresponds to the cylinder number that is misfiring. A P0302 code, for example, would tell you cylinder number two is misfiring. Unfortunately, a P0300 doesn't tell you specifically which cylinder(s) is/are mis-firing, nor why.

Hope this helps.

Multiple cylinder misfire

There could be a couple of reasons for this. If you are getting multiple misfires then usually it has something to due with the plugs going bad. It also depends on how many miles you have on the plugs and the wires. The other problem could be with the ignition coils or the ignition module.

I would check out the EGR valve. That maybe what is causing all the misfires.
